The Rironi-Nakuru-Mau Summit Highway Project (A8) is a landmark national infrastructure initiative aimed at expanding and improving the connectivity between key regions in Kenya. This significant expansion project involves the construction and rehabilitation of several highway sections to facilitate smoother traffic flow and boost economic activities along the corridor. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our skilled technical team as Plant Operators to handle various types of heavy machinery essential for the project's success. The role involves operating equipment such as Excavators, Graders, Rollers, and Pavers while ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency on the construction site. Candidates will be part of a diverse workforce contributing to one of the country's most critical development projects. Possible work locations include several sites along the highway corridor between Rironi and Mau Summit. Key Requirements
Valid National Identity Card or Passport
Relevant technical certifications from NITA or NCA
TVET diploma in plant operation or a related field
Valid Driving License with Class G endorsement for plant machinery
Valid Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) PIN
Evidence of NHIF registration and membership
Evidence of NSSF registration and membership
Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks outdoors
Prior experience operating heavy machinery on large-scale construction sites
Strong understanding of on-site health and safety regulations
