Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Executive Chef to join an exclusive luxury safari tented camp in Tanzania. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate culinary professional with a strong luxury hospitality background to lead a kitchen operation in a unique safari environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional culinary standards, developing innovative menus and leading the kitchen team to deliver memorable dining experiences for guests.
Key responsibilities include leading all kitchen operations, menu development tailored for international guests, and managing the kitchen team to ensure seamless service. The role requires a professional who can manage stock, maintain food costs, and ensure rigorous adherence to health and safety standards while operating within the unique logistical constraints of a luxury safari tented camp.

Key Requirements
Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef or equivalent senior culinary position
Strong experience within luxury hotels, lodges, safari camps or high-end hospitality environments
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for quality and innovation
Strong menu development and food-costing experience
Experience managing and developing a professional kitchen team
Excellent understanding of international cuisine and luxury guest expectations
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen health standards
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a remote safari environment
