ACCOUNTANT @ KEEWAYTZ
Keewaytz is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The primary responsibilities for this Accountant position include preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documents, processing invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries, and regularly reconciling bank statements and company accounts. You will also be responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and monitoring cash flow while maintaining petty cash records. Furthermore, you will support budgeting and financial forecasting activities and ensure the timely payment of suppliers and efficient collection of outstanding receivables.
Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 1-2 years of relevant experience. Previous experience in accounting or finance is strongly preferred, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel, is also highly desirable. The ability to work meticulously and independently, coupled with excellent communication skills, will be crucial for success in this role.
The working stations for this position are located across several regions in Tanzania, providing diverse working environments. These include Mbeya-Chunya, Tarime-Bariadi, Kasulu, Geita-Katoro, Morogoro-Ifakara, and Mtwara.
