SENIOR MECHANICS - LIGHT TRUCKS @ KAZIBORA HR CONSULTANCY
KaziBora HR Consultancy is recruiting a Senior Mechanic for a leading beverage company in Dar es Salaam. This role is focused on managing the maintenance and repair of a fleet of light commercial trucks, specifically those in the 3.5 to 10-ton range, including specialized refrigerated units used for beverage transport.
You will be responsible for supervising daily workshop activities, conducting complex mechanical diagnostics, and executing preventive maintenance schedules. The primary goal is to ensure maximum fleet availability and safety for all vehicles used in the distribution of FMCG products. This position requires a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and a strong ability to manage workshop resources and documentation effectively.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Engineering or Motor Vehicle Mechanics.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in truck maintenance.
Proven experience with 3.5–10 ton delivery trucks.
Specific experience maintaining refrigerated transport units.
Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills.
Proven experience in workshop supervision and team management.
Valid driver's license is required.
Knowledge of fleet management software and workshop logging.
Strong understanding of occupational health and safety in workshops.
Ability to maintain high standards of vehicle roadworthiness.
