SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – WHOLESALE @ KAZIBORA HR CONSULTANCY
Kazibora HR Consultancy is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant with expertise in wholesale operations for a prominent client in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This role is vital for managing the financial health and reporting accuracy within a dynamic wholesale environment. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling complex accounts, and participating in month-end and year-end closing processes. The successful candidate will also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of wholesale business cycles and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative finance team.

Key Requirements
5+ years of accounting experience, with specific experience in wholesale operations
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
Proficiency in general ledger management and financial statement preparation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) preferred
Ability to handle high-volume transactions and complex reconciliations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate financial information clearly
