We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor for our client in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. Your primary goal is to minimize the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.
The role involves preparing tenders, managing contract variations, and conducting site measurements to track progress against budget. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure the financial viability of construction projects throughout the Tanzanian region.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
Registered with relevant professional board
Minimum 3 years experience in construction cost management
Proficiency in estimation software like AutoCAD or Bluebeam
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Expertise in contract documentation and legal requirements
Knowledge of building regulations and health safety standards
Ability to conduct site inspections
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Proven track record of cost control on large-scale projects
