DISPATCH/TRANSPORT MANAGER – LOGISTICS @ KAZIBORA HR CONSULTANCY
The Dispatch/Transport Manager – Logistics will be responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations and managing the transportation of goods efficiently. This includes planning optimal routes, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. You will be a key player in optimizing transport efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills to handle dynamic logistical challenges, such as unexpected delays or changes in delivery schedules. You will manage a team of dispatchers and drivers, implement effective communication protocols, and utilize dispatching software to monitor and control the entire transportation process, ensuring seamless operations from dispatch to delivery.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Dispatch Manager, Transport Manager, or similar role in logistics.
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics planning.
Proficiency in dispatch software and route optimization tools.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage and coordinate a team of drivers and dispatchers.
Strong problem-solving skills, especially in managing unexpected delays or issues.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
Familiarity with vehicle maintenance schedules and driver hour regulations.
Customer service orientation.
Experience with performance monitoring and reporting.
