ACCOUNTANT – ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE @ KAZIBORA HR CONSULTANCY
KaziBora HR Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant specializing in Accounts Receivable to join our client in the heavy steel fabrication and manufacturing sector based in Dar es Salaam. The primary focus of this role is to track receivables, drive collections, and strengthen the company's overall cash flow position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for issuing tax invoices and EFD/VFD receipts, reconciling complex customer accounts, and managing billing disputes. Furthermore, the role involves monitoring credit limits, conducting proactive debt collection, and preparing comprehensive AR aging schedules and DSO reports to ensure financial health.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or FMCG
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or MS Dynamics 365
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
In-depth knowledge of TRA statutory obligations including VAT, WHT, and PAYE
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to manage billing disputes effectively
Experience with Tally ERP
Knowledge of credit risk assessment
