ACCOUNTANT – ACCOUNTS PAYABLE @ KAZIBORA HR CONSULTANCY
KaziBora HR Consultancy is inviting applications for the position of Accountant – Accounts Payable for a leading firm in the heavy steel fabrication industry located in Dar es Salaam. This role focuses on optimizing the supplier payment cycle and ensuring accuracy in vendor reconciliations.
The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end AP process, including 3-way matching of POs, GRNs, and invoices. Additionally, the role involves preparing month-end accruals, managing statutory deductions such as WHT and VAT, and reconciling vendor statements to resolve discrepancies. The accountant will also be responsible for maintaining accurate AP aging reports and assisting with payroll statutory expense reviews.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 2 years of experience in AP processes within a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or MS Dynamics 365
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Understanding of statutory compliance requirements (WHT, VAT, NSSF, etc.)
Ability to perform 3-way matching and discrepancy resolution
Experience in processing month-end accruals and prepayments
Strong analytical skills for preparing AP aging reports
Familiarity with Tally ERP software
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
