They are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot the electrical systems of their heavy-duty truck fleet, ensuring safe and efficient operations. The successful candidate will be based in Dar es Salaam and play a crucial role in maintaining the fleet's readiness.
Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing complex truck electrical and electronic systems, including starters, alternators, batteries, lighting systems, and sensors. The technician will utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults, interpret intricate electrical schematics, and ensure all work adheres to strict safety protocols. Furthermore, the role involves guiding junior technicians and maintaining meticulous documentation of all service and repair activities to ensure long-term vehicle performance.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy-duty truck electrical maintenance.
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical diagnostics and electronic control systems.
Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting automotive electrical diagrams and schematics.
Basic computer literacy for maintenance record-keeping.
Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
