INVENTORY ACCOUNTANT @ KAZIBORA.CO.TZ
As an Inventory Accountant, you will be responsible for the accurate tracking and recording of all inventory movements within the organization. This role involves performing regular physical stock counts, reconciling digital records with physical balances, and identifying discrepancies that may indicate shrinkage or process inefficiencies. You will play a vital role in ensuring that financial statements reflect the true value of inventory held at any given time.
In addition to record-keeping, you will collaborate closely with warehouse and procurement teams to optimize inventory turnover and reduce holding costs. Your analysis of stock levels and aging reports will provide management with actionable insights for purchasing decisions and waste reduction. By maintaining high standards of data integrity in the accounting system, you support the overall financial health and operational stability of the client's business.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA(T) qualification or progress towards professional certification.
At least 3 years of experience in inventory or general accounting.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Knowledge of inventory valuation methods (FIFO, Weighted Average).
Ability to conduct physical stock takes in various environments.
Excellent communication skills for internal reporting and collaboration.
