The Information Security Officer will be responsible for protecting the organization's data and information systems from security threats and unauthorized access. You will develop, implement, and monitor security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and technical security controls.
You will conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis. In the event of a security breach, you will lead the incident response and remediation efforts. Key Requirements
Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience in an information security role.
Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Professional certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CISA) is highly desirable.
Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and risk management.
Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
Experience in developing and enforcing security policies.
Effective communication skills for reporting security risks to management.
