Katlego Advisory (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join their team in Hatfield, Pretoria. This full-time, on-site position is designed for an entry-level professional who is eager to grow within a dynamic advisory firm. The role focuses on supporting SMME clients with various financial services, ensuring their accounting and tax needs are met with precision and professionalism. The monthly salary for this position ranges from R7000 to R9000. Candidates residing in Pretoria are highly preferred for this role. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including financial reporting, budgeting, and quarterly reporting. Beyond technical accounting, you will engage in ad-hoc compliance, tax consulting, and play a vital role in client liaison and stakeholder engagement. Key Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting with majors in Financial Accounting, Audit, and Taxation.
At least 6 to 12 months of working experience in an accounting role.
An excellent command of both spoken and written English.
A valid driver's license is preferred for this position.
Proficiency in preparing financial reports and assisting with budgeting.
Ability to handle quarterly reporting and tax compliance for SMME clients.
Strong interest and passion for working with small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Basic understanding of tax consulting and ad-hoc compliance tasks.
Effective communication skills for client liaison and stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis.
