TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER @ KAPTAIN ENERGY
Kaptain Energy is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Port Harcourt. This role is central to our upstream operations, specifically focusing on drilling and completions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and closing sales opportunities while acting as the primary interface between our clients and internal technical teams. You will be expected to deliver professional technical presentations and provide expert recommendations on equipment based on specific pressure, temperature, and operating conditions.
In addition to sales activities, the Technical Sales Engineer will review well programs and propose effective drilling or completion solutions. This position requires a strategic thinker who can lead client negotiations and manage complex relationships to ensure long-term business success. You will also be involved in preparing detailed technical and commercial proposals, forecasting sales targets, and supporting field operations when necessary. Candidates must have a strong engineering background and a deep understanding of industry standards to ensure full compliance in equipment selection and service delivery.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related field).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in upstream oil & gas services.
Proficiency in interpreting well programs and technical specifications.
In-depth knowledge of drilling tools, wireline operations, and completion systems.
Prior experience in technical sales or field engineering within the O&G sector.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness and ability to travel to field locations as required.
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Ability to lead client negotiations and manage long-term commercial relationships.
Competence in preparing both technical and commercial proposals for oilfield services.
