ACCOUNTS MANAGER @ KAMAL GROUP
Kamal Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our financial operations and report directly to the CFO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity of our financial data, managing the general ledger, and ensuring the timely completion of monthly and annual closing processes. This role is pivotal in advising leadership on financial strategy and ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant financial regulations and tax laws in Tanzania.
The Accounts Manager will also lead the preparation of detailed financial statements, manage bank reconciliations, and oversee day-to-day transactions including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. You will serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA). We are looking for a professional with a background in the manufacturing sector, particularly in steel or lubricants, who can drive operational efficiency and improve internal accounting controls.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Accountant Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is mandatory.
At least 6-8 years of experience in a manufacturing industry or similar industrial environment.
Proven experience in the Steel manufacturing or Lubricants industry is highly preferred.
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
Strong knowledge of general ledger (GL) entries, sub-ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
Ability to prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and balance sheets.
Deep understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards in Tanzania.
Experience managing both internal and external audits and dealing with auditors.
Strong organizational skills to manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll transactions accurately.
