KAGO AFRICA LIMITED is seeking a dedicated Transport Relations Manager (TRM) to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This pivotal role involves overseeing and optimizing our transporter network, ensuring efficient logistics operations. The successful candidate will manage existing relationships, monitor performance, and ensure compliance across all transport activities, contributing significantly to our mission of simplifying logistics across Africa. You will be instrumental in tracking shipments, resolving issues, and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain high service standards.

Key Requirements
Manage transporter relationships and contracts to foster strong partnerships.
Monitor transporter performance and truck availability to optimize operational efficiency.
Track daily shipment status and border progress, ensuring timely deliveries.
Resolve transporter issues and service complaints effectively and promptly.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation standards.
Coordinate communication with drivers, border agents, and branches.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and sourcing of new transporters.
Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding, Logistics & Transport Management, or Procurement Management.
Have 3-4 years' experience in the logistics industry.
Be proficient in Microsoft Office / Office 365.
Knowledge of TRA & Port systems is an added advantage.
Experience with ERP or web application knowledge is an added advantage.
