OPERATIONS OFFICER (FLEET) @ JUBAILI AGROTEC
Jubaili Agrotec is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Operations Officer (Fleet) to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily coordination of our fleet operations, ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and that transport activities are executed efficiently. Key duties include fuel monitoring, route optimization, and supervising drivers to maintain a high level of operational productivity and safety. In addition to daily logistics, the Operations Officer will be tasked with implementing and managing GPS tracking systems to monitor fleet movement and improve delivery timelines. The role requires a candidate who is well-versed in transport management and local safety regulations, capable of producing detailed operational reports, and committed to continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency. Key Requirements
Diploma in Transport Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
2–3 years of experience in fleet operations or logistics coordination
Knowledge of GPS tracking systems and fleet management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage drivers and stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data tracking
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight operational deadlines
Strong analytical skills for fuel monitoring and route optimization
Knowledge of local transport laws and safety regulations in Tanzania
Experience in managing vehicle maintenance schedules and vendor relationships
Proactive problem-solving skills to address on-road emergencies or delays
