MARKETING AGRONOMIST (3 POSITIONS) @ JUBAILI AGROTEC
Jubaili Agrotec is a leading and rapidly expanding agribusiness firm specializing in seeds, agro-inputs, livestock solutions, and comprehensive crop protection. We are looking for three dedicated Marketing Agronomists to join our team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. In this role, you will be the bridge between our technical solutions and the farmers who need them, driving growth through education, strategic market engagement, and technical support. The successful candidates will be responsible for executing marketing strategies, conducting extensive field trials, and providing hands-on training to stakeholders.
You will monitor market trends, collect competitor data, and work closely with the sales team to ensure our products meet the evolving needs of the Tanzanian agricultural landscape. This position requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of agronomic principles. Key tasks include supporting retail sales initiatives, monitoring product performance regarding stock movement, and preparing detailed field activity reports for management review. Candidates must be willing to travel to various regions to support farmers and distributors directly.

Key Requirements
Develop and implement marketing strategies for agricultural products and solutions.
Provide agronomic support and technical guidance to farmers, distributors, and agro-dealers.
Conduct product demonstrations and field visits to showcase product efficacy.
Organize and lead farmer training sessions to promote best agricultural practices.
Provide technical assistance and product knowledge support to customers and counter sales staff.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, agro-dealers, and business partners.
Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, customer preferences, and pricing trends.
Collaborate with the sales team to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
Monitor product performance and prepare reports on stock movement and new products.
Support retail sales initiatives and promotional activities in the assigned region.
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively train diverse audiences.
Willingness to travel frequently to rural field locations.
Proficiency in reporting and data collection regarding market trends.
