JS Electromec Ltd is seeking a dedicated Procurement Officer to join our team based in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement lifecycle, which includes sourcing high-quality materials, conducting detailed quotation analyses, and managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-efficiency and timely delivery for our projects.
This role involves working closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams to identify requirements, execute Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), and maintain high standards of operational integrity. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, expert negotiation skills, and a proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.

Key Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering company.
Experience sourcing electrical, mechanical, fabrication, industrial or engineering materials.
Strong skills in supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, and LPOs.
Experience with ERP/procurement systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
High degree of integrity and professional accountability.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
