Joudhotels is seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to join our team in Zanzibar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations, ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional experience. Key duties include managing and training F&B team members to maintain high service standards, monitoring inventory, controlling costs, and fostering strong supplier relationships. The manager will also ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards while developing and implementing innovative menus and service concepts.
The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, backed by proven experience in European-standard operations. Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and organizational abilities. Fluency in English is required, and additional languages are considered an advantage. Key Requirements
Female candidate preferred based on role specifications.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Food & Beverage management role.
Proven experience working in Europe or with European hospitality standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills to lead a diverse team.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
Experience in inventory management and cost control procedures.
Ability to develop and implement innovative menus and service concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills to handle guest feedback and service issues.
Ability to train and mentor staff to maintain high-quality service standards.
Proficiency in hospitality management software and POS systems.
