PROCUREMENT OFFICER (2 POSITIONS) @ JONESBARAKA
JonesBaraka is seeking to hire two dedicated Procurement Officers to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services essential for our operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of procurement principles and supply chain management.
The Procurement Officer will play a crucial role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. You will contribute to optimizing our procurement processes, identifying opportunities for savings, and supporting the overall efficiency of our supply chain. Key Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Procurement or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the procurement industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple vendors and contracts simultaneously
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
High level of integrity and ethical conduct
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
