WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR (02 POSITIONS) @ JOHN GWAZA
We are seeking two highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisors to oversee our daily warehouse operations in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing a dedicated team, ensuring the efficiency of warehouse activities, and maintaining accurate records through the use of Warehouse Management Systems. This role is pivotal in optimizing our supply chain and logistics processes to ensure timely delivery and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in procurement and warehouse management, with the ability to lead and motivate staff to achieve operational excellence. Key responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, generating detailed reports, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols within the warehouse environment. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced setting to meet organizational goals.
Key Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Procurement and Warehouse related fields
Experience as Warehouse Officer for not less than 5 years
Ability to manage and lead a team
Previous experience working in Warehouse department with warehouse activities
Aware of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Strong reporting skills and careful attention to details
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Understanding of warehouse safety standards and regulations
