John Gwaza is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Warehouse/Procurement Officers to join our growing team. As a Junior Warehouse/Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including assisting with the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods, conducting regular stock checks, and participating in procurement activities. You will work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of necessary materials. Strong communication skills in both English and Swahili are crucial for collaborating with colleagues and external partners. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of proven experience working in a warehouse or procurement environment.
Proficiency in both English and Swahili, essential for effective communication within the team and with suppliers.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory control.
Ability to reside in Kibaha or have reliable accommodation and transportation to work in Kibaha.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer literacy, including experience with inventory management software or Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical fitness and ability to handle various warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving items if required.
