MST CCR SUPERVISOR (DAY/NIGHT) @ JOBSKEY
The MST CCR Supervisor (Day/Night) is a critical leadership role based in Tanga, Tanzania, responsible for the oversight of central control room operations in a high-performance industrial environment. The successful candidate will lead a team of operators to ensure that plant operations are conducted safely, reliably, and efficiently. This role involves continuous monitoring of SCADA/DCS systems, managing alarms, and coordinating complex plant transitions including start-ups and shutdowns. You will be expected to enforce strict HSE standards, manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system, and lead emergency response actions from the control room.
In addition to operational oversight, the supervisor will collaborate extensively with maintenance, production, and pump station teams to ensure seamless shift handovers and effective troubleshooting of equipment. A significant portion of the role involves performance monitoring, where you will analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and system improvements. As a mentor, you will guide and develop the skills of control room operators while maintaining rigorous documentation and reporting to the Production Superintendent and Terminal Manager. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
Minimum 12+ years of experience in oil & gas plant operations.
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory or panel operator role.
Hands-on experience in plant start-ups and shutdowns.
Proven expertise in emergency handling and managing process upsets.
In-depth knowledge of HSE practices and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
Strong coordination and troubleshooting exposure in industrial settings.
Ability to monitor and manage SCADA/DCS systems and alarms effectively.
Excellent leadership skills to mentor and guide control room operators.
Proactive approach to safety and operational excellence.
Ability to manage high-pressure operational environments.
Excellent communication and team coordination abilities for shift handovers.
