ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT @ JEN RECRUITMENT
An established and steadily growing company located in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town is currently seeking a dependable finance professional to fill the role of Assistant Accountant. This position is ideal for candidates who possess a strong background in finance and are looking for a stable environment where they can apply their expertise in bookkeeping and accounting support. The offered salary range for this position is R25,000 – R28,000 per month. Candidates will be expected to work within the Northern Suburbs area and provide high-quality financial assistance to the existing team. The role involves managing a variety of accounting tasks, from day-to-day transaction processing to monthly reporting. Key Requirements
Extensive experience managing Debtors and Creditors functions.
Proven ability to perform detailed bank and account Reconciliations.
In-depth knowledge of VAT processing and various Journal entries.
Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive accounting support.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and various reporting tools.
Previous professional experience as an Assistant Accountant or Senior Bookkeeper.
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in data management.
Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills for professional interaction with vendors and internal teams.
Relevant certification or degree in Accounting or Finance is highly preferred.
