RECREATION MANAGER @ JAZHOTELS
Jazhotels is seeking a dedicated Recreation Manager to join our vibrant team in Zanzibar. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, organizing, and supervising all guest recreational activities, ensuring a fun and safe environment for visitors of all ages. This role is pivotal in creating memorable experiences for guests through well-planned daily entertainment programs, special events, and high-energy engagement activities. In addition to activity planning, the Recreation Manager will lead and support the recreation team, fostering a culture of excellence and safety. You will oversee the maintenance of all equipment and facilities to ensure they meet high standards. A key part of the role involves interacting directly with guests to gather feedback and improve programs, as well as developing innovative new recreational concepts. Key Requirements
Must be a Tanzanian national
Proven experience in recreation management or a similar role within the hospitality industry
Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a recreation team
Ability to design and supervise diverse guest entertainment programs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for guest interaction
Commitment to maintaining high safety and maintenance standards for facilities
Creative ability to develop new activity ideas and improve current programs
Fluency in English and Swahili is required
Strong organizational and event coordination skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
