HYGIENE MANAGER @ JAZ ELITE AURORA & JAZ AMALUNA
The Hygiene Manager will play a critical role in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety across all departments of Jaz Elite Aurora and Jaz Amaluna. This position involves developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive hygiene protocols and procedures, ensuring strict compliance with local and international health regulations, including HACCP. You will conduct regular inspections, train staff on best practices, and manage pest control initiatives to maintain a pristine and safe environment for both guests and employees. Your leadership will be essential in promoting a culture of exceptional hygiene and sanitation throughout our luxury hospitality operations in Tanzania.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in hygiene management, ideally in 5-star hotels or luxury resorts
In-depth knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations
Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and methodologies
Proven ability to conduct hygiene audits and implement corrective actions
Excellent training and communication skills for staff development
Experience in managing pest control programs effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
Certification in food hygiene or safety is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
