Jaz Elite Aurora is looking for two highly organized and experienced Executive Chief Stewards to oversee the cleanliness and operational efficiency of all kitchen, stewarding, and back-of-house areas. These critical roles involve managing the stewarding team, ensuring impeccable hygiene standards, and maintaining all kitchen equipment and dishware in top condition. The Executive Chief Stewards will play a vital role in supporting the culinary and F&B teams, ensuring smooth operations consistent with a 5-star luxury hotel. These are multiple positions, highlighting the hotel's commitment to maintaining superior operational standards.Key responsibilities include scheduling and supervising stewarding staff, managing inventory of equipment and chemicals, implementing rigorous cleaning schedules, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations. The successful candidates will be proactive problem-solvers with strong leadership skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to the overall guest satisfaction through efficient and clean back-of-house operations.
Key Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chief Steward or similar role in a luxury hotel.
Strong leadership and team management skills for a large stewarding team.
In-depth knowledge of kitchen cleaning procedures, chemicals, and equipment.
Excellent understanding of HACCP and other food safety standards.
Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in scheduling and operational planning.
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic kitchen environment.
