ACCOUNTANT @ ITV
ITV is seeking a qualified and experienced male Accountant to join our finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires a professional with a strong background in accounting principles and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced media environment. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in financial management and be capable of handling various accounting tasks, including budgeting, tax filing, and auditing support. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a CPA certification and demonstrate exceptional analytical skills. You will be expected to contribute to the financial stability and growth of the organization through diligent oversight and strategic planning.
Key Requirements
Must be a male candidate as per the recruitment requirements
Previous professional experience in an accounting or finance role
Possession of a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification is highly preferred
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements
Solid understanding of general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and various accounting software packages
Strong understanding of Tanzanian tax regulations and statutory compliance
Excellent analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members
