HR MANAGER @ ITMAFRICA
ITM Africa is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced female HR Manager to join our operations in the Lake Zone region of Tanzania. This pivotal role requires a professional who has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and operational demands within the Mining or Heavy industry sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering a productive work environment that supports the company's strategic goals and operational efficiency in the region. The HR Manager will lead the implementation of HR policies, manage industrial relations, and oversee talent acquisition and retention strategies for specialized roles. Key responsibilities include managing employee benefits, conducting performance evaluations, and coordinating training and development programs to enhance staff capability. Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage a diverse workforce in a demanding industrial setting. Possible work locations include various sites within the Lake Zone.
Key Requirements
Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in human resources management.
Previous work experience specifically within the Mining or Heavy industry sectors is mandatory.
A Masters degree in Human Resources Management is highly preferred for this role.
In-depth knowledge of Tanzanian Labor Laws and employment regulations.
Proven leadership and management skills with experience overseeing large teams in an industrial setting.
Expertise in talent acquisition and recruitment for technical and specialized positions.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
Ability to manage complex employee relations and conflict resolution processes.
Proficiency in HRIS and other modern human resource management software tools.
Strategic thinking capability to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives.
