PLANNING ENGINEER @ IRIS
IRIS is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planning Engineer to join our professional team in Qatar. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. You will work closely with project managers and site teams to develop comprehensive project timelines, identify critical paths, and provide actionable insights through detailed reporting. This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of our construction operations and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in project management software and possess a deep understanding of construction methodologies. You will be expected to analyze project data to forecast potential delays and propose mitigation strategies. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure resource availability and alignment with project goals. We are looking for a professional who is currently located in Qatar and can immediately contribute to our ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects with minimal supervision.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction planning
Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project
Strong analytical and reporting skills
Locally available in Qatar is preferred
Ability to create and manage complex project schedules
Strong understanding of construction sequences and methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in resource loading and cost control within schedules
Ability to conduct site visits and verify progress data
