IT SUPPORT @ IRIS EXECUTIVE
We are looking for a dedicated IT Support specialist to join our team in Dar es Salaam. This role involves providing technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks and systems to ensure maximum uptime and security for our organization. The successful candidate will respond to user requests via email or phone, diagnose hardware and software problems, and guide users through remedial actions. You will also perform regular maintenance on server systems and network infrastructure. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and provide exceptional service to our team members.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience as IT Support or Desktop Support.
Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
Knowledge of networking protocols and hardware troubleshooting.
Experience with Office 365 and cloud-based applications.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
Strong communication skills for interacting with non-technical staff.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and antivirus software.
Certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional.
