IT SUPPORT @ IRIS EXECUTIVE
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. You will respond to queries, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions to ensure the smooth operation of our daily business activities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining our information technology infrastructure.
In addition to troubleshooting, the IT Support specialist will manage network configurations, ensure data security protocols are followed, and assist with the onboarding of new employees by setting up their workstations. You will play a crucial role in documenting technical procedures and training staff on best practices for technology use. Key Requirements
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems.
Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
Write training manuals and train computer users on new systems.
Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
Ask questions to determine nature of problem and walk customer through problem-solving steps.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
Clean up computers and run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
Install computer peripherals for users.
Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
