HEAD OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS @ IRIS EXECUTIVE
We are looking for a strategic Head of Corporate Affairs to lead our communications and government relations strategy in Dar es Salaam. This high-level role involves managing the company's reputation, overseeing internal and external communications, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities and the media. You will serve as a primary advisor to the executive team on public policy and corporate image. The ideal candidate will develop and execute comprehensive public affairs programs that align with our business objectives. You will manage public relations campaigns, oversee corporate social responsibility projects, and ensure that our brand messaging remains consistent across all platforms. This role requires a sophisticated professional with exceptional diplomacy skills and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
Key Requirements
Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or Business Administration.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate communications or public affairs.
Strong network with government officials and regulatory bodies in Tanzania.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
Proven track record in reputation management and crisis communication.
Strategic thinking and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience in managing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of communications professionals.
Deep understanding of the political and economic landscape in the region.
