CHIEF ACCOUNTANT (1 POSITION) @ IRIS CONSTRUCTION
IRIS Construction is seeking a highly qualified Chief Accountant to lead our financial operations in Zanzibar. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounting department, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and providing strategic financial advice to management. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards. We are looking for a leader who can maintain financial integrity and help drive the financial success of our construction projects in the region.
Key Requirements
Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven work experience as a Chief Accountant or Finance Manager
Supporting documents and academic transcripts required with application
Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and local tax laws
Experience with financial statement preparation and general ledger
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage accounting staff
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel
Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred
Integrity and ability to manage confidential financial data
