SERVICE FULFILMENT ENGINEER (ENTRY LEVEL) @ IPNX NIGERIA LIMITED
Join ipNX Nigeria Limited as a Service Fulfilment Engineer in an entry-level capacity. In this hands-on field engineering role, you will be responsible for the ground-level installation, configuration, and activation of customer services including Voice, Data, and Video across fiber and wireless networks. Your contributions will directly impact how customers experience our services from the very first day. This role is available across multiple locations in Nigeria, including Abuja, Kano, Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Ibadan. The ideal candidate will execute end-to-end service provisioning and on-site installation of customer premises equipment such as routers, switches, IP phones, and ONTs. You will conduct last-mile troubleshooting to ensure quality standards and liaise with specialized teams like NOC and Infrastructure for seamless delivery. Beyond technical tasks, you will maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide mentorship to interns. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a proactive professional ready to excel in a dynamic telecommunications environment.
Key Requirements
BSc/HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline (minimum 2.1).
1–2 years of hands-on experience in telecoms, ISP, or ICT service delivery.
Solid understanding of IP networking including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
Practical experience configuring routers, switches, and other network connectivity devices.
Familiarity with modern fiber optic and wireless access technologies.
Knowledge of network troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute, OTDR, and cable testers.
Must be a Nigerian citizen currently residing in Nigeria.
Willingness to work in a field-based role with occasional weekend shifts.
Ability to independently configure basic router and switch settings.
Possession of a Cisco certification or completion of NYSC/internship in a telecom environment is a bonus.
