FINANCE & RECONCILIATION MANAGER @ INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL BANK (TANZANIA) LIMITED
The Finance & Reconciliation Manager leads critical financial control and reconciliation activities to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of the Bank's financial records and operational accounts. This role is instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of financial data, facilitating timely resolution of discrepancies, and supporting robust financial reporting. The Manager plays a key part in regulatory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and effectively managing operational risks.
Key responsibilities include providing strategic leadership to the Finance & Reconciliation function, safeguarding the reliability of the Bank's financial records, and overseeing reconciliation governance. The position is also responsible for driving a culture of financial discipline, ensuring audit readiness, and leading transformation initiatives to improve finance processes through automation and efficiency gains. The Manager will partner with Executive Management and business functions to support the Bank's sustainable growth and foster sound financial management practices, while also focusing on developing high-performing teams within the department.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Commerce, or a related field
Minimum 7 years' relevant banking experience or experience in an accounting firm
Professional qualification such as CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, or CIMA is required
At least 4 years' experience specifically in Finance, Financial Control, or Reconciliations
Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management position within a financial context
Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting, audit coordination, and financial governance
Strong leadership and strategic thinking capability, with a deep understanding of banking finance and control environments
Proven ability to strengthen governance, internal controls, and operational effectiveness
Experience leading change, process improvement, and cross-functional initiatives
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills, coupled with high ethical standards and integrity
