MAINTENANCE-ELECTRICIAN @ INTER PIPE
Inter Pipe is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance-Electrician to join its manufacturing team in Al Ain. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that all maintenance and repair tasks on production machines are handled with high urgency, directly contributing to the reduction of production downtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing planned maintenance schedules to keep HDPE, UPVC, GRP, and RCP pipe manufacturing equipment in optimal working condition. Furthermore, the role involves managing complex wiring and cabling projects to ensure the entire plant operates safely and efficiently according to international standards.
In addition to technical repairs, the Maintenance-Electrician is expected to maintain highly detailed records of all breakdowns and follow-up actions for documentation purposes. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental control procedures to ensure a hazard-free workplace for themselves and their colleagues. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential equipment failures before they occur and managing spare parts inventory to ensure components are ready for use whenever necessary. Proficiency in technical communication in English is essential for coordinating with diverse shop floor teams.

Key Requirements
Must possess an Electrical Diploma or a Technical Degree.
Requires 4-6 years of experience in an industrial environment with electrical expertise.
Demonstrated knowledge of plant and production equipment maintenance.
Expertise in control panel assembly and systematic troubleshooting.
Ability to dismantle motors and identify specific failure modes.
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical components including electro-valves, motors, and sensors.
Proven ability to maintain CNC and PLC systems and switches.
Knowledge of wiring and cabling procedures following international and local standards.
Technical capability to perform crane repairs as needed.
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings.
Proficiency in using electrical tools such as multi-meters, solders, and crimping tools.
Strong proficiency in English and the ability to communicate with shop floor personnel.
Candidate must be currently located inside the UAE for the interview process.
Ability to work under pressure to resolve machinery breakdowns with urgency.
