The role focuses on managing the procurement of medical equipment, office supplies, and other necessary materials while ensuring cost-efficiency and quality. The Purchase Manager will be responsible for vendor selection, contract negotiation, and inventory management to support the college's daily operations.
Candidates must possess a strong background in supply chain management within the healthcare or higher education sectors. Key Requirements
Must hold a Degree and an MBA (relevant specialization preferred).
Minimum 3 to 10 years of experience in procurement for colleges or hospitals.
Mandatory fluency in Malayalam language.
Mandatory fluency in English language.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.
Expertise in procurement planning and cost analysis.
Knowledge of medical equipment and institutional supplies.
Experience in maintaining inventory and supply chain records.
Ability to manage purchase orders and track deliveries.
Proficiency in using procurement software and database management.
