MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (3 POSTS) @ INORAY
SINORAY is a leading multinational motorcycle and accessories manufacturing enterprise, committed to quality in Tanzania and African markets. We are currently expanding our operations and seeking skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our professional team in Kibaha. This role is critical to ensuring our logistics fleet operates at peak performance. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of our heavy-duty logistics fleet, which includes models such as SCANIA, MAN, and HOWO. You will work within our dedicated service facility to ensure the reliability and safety of all vehicles in our fleet. The position involves performing regular scheduled preventive maintenance and adhering strictly to all company safety and garage protocols. You will be expected to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain our high standards of operational excellence.
Key Requirements
Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Automotive Engineering or a related technical field.
Minimum 2 years of proven hands-on experience maintaining heavy commercial trucks like SCANIA, MAN, or HOWO.
Practical technical understanding of diesel engine systems and combustion principles.
Proficiency in hydraulic system diagnostics and repair.
Deep knowledge of complex driveline and powertrain components.
Extensive experience with heavy-duty air-braking and suspension systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical service manuals and schematics.
Strong commitment to workplace Health and Safety standards.
Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver's License is considered a significant advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
