NETWORK ENGINEER I @ INFOTREE SERVICE
We are seeking a dedicated Network Engineer I to join our technical team and manage sophisticated network infrastructures. The role involves working with TCP/IP, WAN/LAN systems, and providing high-level troubleshooting for routers, switches, and VPNs from vendors such as Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto. You will also bridge the gap between networking and modern development by managing AWS and hybrid cloud environments. This position is ideal for a professional looking to leverage their technical skills in a flexible, remote setting. In addition to hardware management, you will drive efficiency through automation and scripting. By utilizing tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef, alongside scripting in Python or Perl, you will help automate repetitive tasks and optimize system performance. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and a strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Extensive experience with TCP/IP and WAN/LAN configurations
Expertise in troubleshooting Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto hardware
Background in Cloud and DevOps specifically with AWS and hybrid environments
Proficiency in scripting using Python, Perl, and Unix shells
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Strong knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems
Experience working with JSON and REST APIs
Familiarity with F5, Riverbed, and Wireless technologies
Skills in Java, Expect, or TCL for networking tasks
