STEEL BAR BENDING MACHINE OPERATORS (2 POSITIONS) @ INFINITY DEVELOPMENTS
We are looking for two skilled and safety-conscious Steel Bar Bending Machine Operators to support our construction projects in Zanzibar. This role involves operating and maintaining automated or semi-automated machinery to ensure that steel bar bending and cutting operations are handled efficiently. You will be a critical part of the on-site team, working closely with supervisors to ensure structural integrity and adherence to engineering specifications.
Candidates must be capable of reading and interpreting complex blueprints and bar bending schedules (BBS). Safety is our top priority; therefore, strict adherence to site protocols and the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are required. With a focus on precision and physical stamina, you will help Infinity Developments deliver high-quality infrastructure and residential projects in the region.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience operating steel bar bending machinery on major construction projects.
Technical or vocational training certificate in welding, steel fixing, or relevant machinery operation.
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, and bar bending schedules (BBS).
Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and bending steel rebars precisely according to dimensions.
Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Strict adherence to site safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity for outdoor site work.
A safety-first mindset and attention to detail during heavy machinery operation.
Ability to work collaboratively with the steel-fixing and site supervision teams.
Candidates must be locals from Zanzibar or Tanzania Mainland.
