QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ INFINITY DEVELOPMENTS
Infinity Developments is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team for an urgent project located in Nungwi, Zanzibar. This is a full-time position that requires a professional capable of managing both on-site evaluations and office-based administrative tasks. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of our construction and real estate projects in this beautiful coastal region. The candidate will be expected to work closely with project managers to maintain quality and budget compliance. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including cost estimation, budgeting, and detailed project valuation. You will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to provide accurate reporting and ensure that all developments remain within financial constraints. This role demands a high level of technical expertise, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to meeting strict project deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards. The position is based in the Nungwi area of Zanzibar, offering a dynamic working environment within a reputable firm.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction and/or real estate projects
Ability to work both on-site and office-based assignments
Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, cost estimation, budgeting, and project valuation
Good communication and reporting skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
Relevant academic qualifications and practical experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost estimation software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail in financial reporting and documentation
Knowledge of local construction laws and regulations in Tanzania
