MECHANICAL DESIGNER – MEP @ INFINITY DEVELOPMENTS
Infinity Developments is currently seeking a dedicated Mechanical Designer specializing in MEP to lead HVAC and mechanical system design projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing high-level design calculations for cooling loads, duct sizing, and ventilation systems, while also overseeing the design of chilled water, VRF, and smoke extraction systems. This role requires a professional who can expertly select mechanical equipment and prepare detailed coordination layouts that align with project specifications and architectural requirements.
Beyond technical design, the Mechanical Designer will act as a key liaison between electrical, plumbing, and structural teams to ensure cohesive project execution. A critical component of the role involves maintaining strict compliance with United Arab Emirates authority standards, including DEWA, Civil Defense, and local Municipality regulations. The candidate will also support technical submittals and manage consultant approvals, ensuring that all design deliverables are of the highest quality and meet industry benchmarks for residential and commercial high-rise projects. Possible work locations include various project sites within the region as required by the firm.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
4–6 years of professional experience specifically in HVAC design.
Proven experience working on residential, commercial, hospitality, or high-rise projects.
Demonstrated ability to perform HVAC design calculations including cooling load and ESP.
Expertise in designing chilled water, VRF, ventilation, and smoke extraction systems.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP software.
Experience using HAP (Carrier) or equivalent load calculation software.
Familiarity with Navisworks for coordination and clash detection.
In-depth knowledge of UAE authority standards such as DEWA and Civil Defense.
Excellent coordination skills to work effectively with Electrical and Architectural teams.
