LEAD LAND SURVEYOR @ INFINITY DEVELOPMENTS
Infinity Developments is seeking a Lead Land Surveyor to join our fast-growing team in Zanzibar. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our infrastructure and real estate projects, ensuring high precision in land surveying and mapping activities. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire survey lifecycle, from initial field data collection to final mapping accuracy, while supervising a dedicated team of surveyors.
This position requires a strategic thinker who can handle complex surveying tasks and integrate data into our broader project planning. You will work closely with other departments to ensure all land boundaries and site developments align with architectural and engineering requirements. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
Senior-level experience in land surveying and mapping.
Proven expertise in mapping accuracy and data interpretation.
Demonstrated experience in survey team supervision and leadership.
Proficiency with advanced surveying equipment including Total Stations and GPS.
Strong knowledge of GIS software and AutoCAD for survey data processing.
Familiarity with local land laws and regulations in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex terrain.
Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments and construction sites.
Strong communication skills for reporting and stakeholder coordination.
