MESSENGER / DRIVER @ INDUSTRIAL PACKAGING LIMITED (IPL)
Industrial Packaging Limited (IPL) is seeking a motivated and energetic Messenger to join their team in Dar es Salaam. The primary responsibility of this role is the secure and timely delivery of documents, legal papers, packages, and payments to various branches, stakeholders, and headquarters within the city. Candidates will be expected to operate both cars and motorcycles effectively to navigate urban traffic and meet strict deadlines while ensuring the safety of all items in transit.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the banking or financial sector, which will aid in understanding the confidentiality and importance of the handled documents. Beyond delivery, the role involves maintaining vehicle logs, ensuring basic maintenance of assigned vehicles, and interacting professionally with clients and bank staff. Key Requirements
Form IV (O-Level) education or higher.
Valid driving license classes B, D, A, and A1 (Car and Motorcycle).
1-2 years of experience in delivery, debt collection, or banking operations.
In-depth knowledge of Dar es Salaam's geography and navigation routes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure.
High level of discipline, honesty, and professional integrity.
Strong communication skills in both Kiswahili and English.
Age between 25 and 40 years.
Proficiency in planning efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of company and client information.
