SALES MANAGER-BDM-LUBRICANTS @ INDUS ITC
Focused on the Ghanaian market, specifically the port city of Tema, this role targets the expansion of lubricant and base oil distribution networks. The Sales Manager will lead B2B export initiatives, identifying high-potential importers and managing long-term partnerships with traders and industrial buyers. You will be responsible for the entire export process, including logistics coordination and compliance with local Ghanaian import regulations.
The role demands a candidate with high energy and the ability to travel extensively across West Africa to maintain ground-level activity. You will collaborate with shipping agents and customs teams to ensure that delivery schedules are met and customers receive high-quality service. This position is critical for managing the company's P&L in the region and requires a professional with a deep technical understanding of chemical engineering and international trade.

Key Requirements
Chemical Engineering degree or similar technical background.
MBA in International Business preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in lubricants or chemicals sales.
Existing base of customers and importers in Ghana.
Thorough understanding of port regulations in Tema.
Knowledge of West African export and import procedures.
Proficiency in English and mandatory French for regional travel.
Ability to work independently and drive sales growth.
Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time within West Africa.
Capability to manage complex supply chain and logistics tasks.
