SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - SUPPORT @ INDSAFRI
Indsafri is seeking a dedicated System Administrator - Support to join their team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This onsite role involves ensuring the security and integrity of computer systems, user applications, and overall network infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing anti-virus software, implementing patches, and ensuring that all systems are updated according to industry standards.
The role also focuses heavily on risk management and operational support. You will drive the remediation of risk management exceptions identified during audits, support the Head of ICT in budget preparation, and coordinate with vendors to resolve application-specific issues. Additionally, you will provide critical support for business and operation application systems, manage user permissions, and proactively identify emerging risks to ensure business continuity.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
A minimum of 3 years of working experience in supporting banking applications.
A minimum of 3 years working experience in IT support roles.
Proven experience with computer and application security including anti-virus and patches.
Strong understanding and utilization of risk management tools.
Ability to drive remediation of risk management exceptions identified during audits.
Capability to assist the Head of ICT in preparing ICT related budgets.
Experience in coordinating with various application system vendors to resolve issues.
Strong background in application system user management and business support.
Analytical skills to identify new emerging risks in existing work for mitigation purposes.
