INSTRUMENT QA/QC ENGINEER @ INDMAN RECRUITMENT
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument QA/QC Engineer to join a prestigious Oil & Gas client project in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation installations and systems comply with project specifications, international standards, and quality protocols. This role involves working closely with EPC teams to oversee quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle. The work location is primarily based in Abu Dhabi, with potential requirements to visit or work at various site locations including Habshan.
Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, reviewing technical documentation, and managing the quality documentation process. The position is offered as a contract role with an initial duration of 8 to 12 months, which may be extended based on project needs. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in the Instrumentation QA/QC domain within the energy sector.

Key Requirements
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
Strong hands-on experience in the Instrumentation QA/QC domain.
In-depth knowledge of international instrumentation codes and standards such as ISA, IEC, and ANSI.
Ability to review and approve Quality Control Plans (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
Experience in witnessing Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Proficiency in managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and implementing corrective actions.
Strong understanding of loop checks, calibration, and instrumentation installation requirements.
Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills for quality audits.
Ability to coordinate effectively with project management and third-party inspection agencies.
Familiarity with Material Receiving Inspection and traceability of instrumentation components.
