SETTER (BLOW MOULDING) @ IIPS RECRUITMENT
iiPS Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Setter specializing in Blow Moulding for a client within the plastics manufacturing sector located in Malvern, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for critical operational tasks including machine set-ups, mould changes, and managing start-ups and shutdowns. Beyond technical setup, you will monitor machine performance, adjust parameters to meet quality standards, and perform regular quality checks. You will also play a key role in supporting preventative maintenance schedules and assisting with operator training to ensure efficiency. Strict adherence to health and safety compliance is mandatory as you contribute to the overall productivity of the manufacturing facility in Johannesburg.

Key Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
2–3 years of experience in plastic manufacturing with specific blow moulding exposure.
Strong numerical skills and mathematical aptitude for technical calculations.
20/20 vision with no colour deficiencies to ensure quality control accuracy.
Clear criminal record as per industry standard requirements.
Willingness to work rotating shifts in a 24-hour manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform complex machine set-ups and mould changes independently.
Capacity to monitor performance and adjust machine parameters for optimal output.
Support preventative maintenance and contribute to operator training programs.
Deep understanding of health and safety compliance within a factory setting.
Knowledge of basic injection moulding processes (considered an advantage).
Relevant technical certification such as N2-N4 in Mechanical or Plastics (advantageous).
